Patterned after Dr. Gleasons former house in Boston, this house was built on a rock foundation. Gleason, a dentist had his home constructed with a turret, an enclosed porch with arched windows, doors made of 2 kinds of wood and built in China cabinets.
When the sewer was extended to Morgan Hill in 1904, a dormer was added to the second story to accomodate a second bathroom.
